House prices in Liverpool have topped the inflation rankings nation wide – but properties across the region are also at their most affordable for a decade.
Liverpool tops the house price inflation rankings in the UK, coming joint first with Edinburgh, with average house prices up 5.8% annually to £125,500.
These figures come according to Zoopla’s latest UK Cities House Price Index, which looks at price inflation and affordability across the country.
This time last year Liverpool experienced annual house price growth of +3.8%, meaning house price inflation is accelerating.
