The Rise helps drive Ford’s latest campaign
A new national TV advert has been launched featuring Primesite Development’s The Rise.
Ford’s new campaign showcases Ford Commercial Vehicles in a range of scenarios. The Rise, based in Liverpool’s Knowledge Quarter on the corner of Low Hill Street and West Derby Street, was the chosen construction site.
Titled “Backbone of Britain”, the advert honours the people who “keep Britain running”. It shows glimpses of tradespeople working in an iron foundry, taking part in lifeboat rescue, and cleaning windows at the top of skyscrapers, alongside shots of construction at The Rise.
The first shot of the construction site can be seen at 0:22, as We Will Rock You by Queen plays in the background.
To get the perfect shot, a full day of filming took place on site in March. The ad is now being played on national television, and is also available to view online at: https://youtu.be/_G_g7iuaCro
In a statement published in The Drum, Ford UK wrote: “Here at Ford, we know it’s not our vans alone that keep Britain running, it’s the people that drive them – you. From plumbers to plasterers, engineers to electricians, we’re proud to serve those who serve our nation, with our new range of Ford Commercial Vehicles for 2019.”
Construction is currently well underway on The Rise, a seven-storey mixed-use development, which will combine a mix of accommodation for students and key workers. The project has been designed by architects Brock Carmichael and will feature a communal gym, cinema, laundry, and games room, along with parking.
